According to the recent updates, CBSE has announced that there will be a delay in the online application process for CTET. Earlier, as per the Expectations this online process was to commence in the month of June itself. However, due to some administrative problems and other hurdles, it has been made clear by the board that the candidates who were looking forward to apply online for CTET which was to be held in September will have to wait some more time to fill up their applications online. They have not been made any official declarations on the exact date on which this application process will begin.

All the aspirants who wish to apply will have to wait for the further notice by the board. The direct implication of this delay in the application process suggests that there might be some delay in the scheduled date for the actual examination. In addition to this, it has also been declared that now onwards the test will be held via the online mode. From the very first examination of CTET till last year, CBSE always conducted it via the pen and paper mode. However, this trend will not be followed anymore and the aspirants will need to appear for the examination online.

CTET 2018 Exam Pattern – Question Paper & Syllabus – CTET is conducted in two stages, namely paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper is for those who wish to teach the classes from 1st to 5th . On the other hand, paper 2 should be taken by the aspirants who wish to teach students of classes 6th to 8th. If a candidate wishes, they can apply for both the papers simultaneously.

Generally, the minimum marks which must be obtained by a candidate in order to successfully clear the examination is said to be 60%, but this cutoff is subject to changes anytime declared by the board. Once a person has cleared the examination, the certificate shall be valid for a period of the next 7 years. Even though this has not been the official notification by CBSE, sources also suggest that students can expect a drastic change in the pattern of the examination, the syllabus as well as the selection process. Although there are no details confirming or conveying the same, these changes are very much anticipated and can be made official anytime.
